Bugonia

This week see's the Splice Guys return to the first ever director to win a Splice Guys best movie award. Yorgos Lanthimos is back, teaming with his longtime collaborator Emma Stone, with their new movie "Bugonia". A re-make of South Korean movie "Save the green planet", which just so happens to be in Liam's top five movies of all time. So it's only right we retro-review "Save the green planet' as well. Plus, we take a look at some of our favourite alien invasion movies.

Springsteen: Deliver me from nowhere

Happy Halloween! 
While we haven't done a Halloween special this year, we do spend some time talking about our favourite childhood halloween movie memories, and Liam has some spooky recommendations in the round up. 
Our review this week is "Springsteen: Deliver me from nowhere", the music biopic about 'the boss' himself, the one and only Bruce Springsteen. Scott Cooper writes and directs the Jeremy Allen White starring feature. For the retro, we go back to another Scott Cooper movie about music, as we review "Crazy Heart", starring Jeff Bridges.

This week the Splice Guys take a look at a timeless story that has been adapted to the big screen more than 400 times! This time, it's the turn of iconic director, Guillermo del Toro. del Toro has been trying to make his version of "Frankenstein", for nearly his entire career. For the retro, we review "Pans Labyrinth", a film many people call, Del Toro's Magnum Opus. Plus, it's game number 15 in the Splice Guys Championship.
