CinemaCon 2026 - Episode 3

It's our final episode recapping all the announcements from this year's CinemaCon. This episodes see's us cover Paramount Pictures and Disney. While both companies have huge movies coming out over the next 12 months, they are also surrounded by controversy. Paramount's ongoing battle to acquire Warner Bros. and Disney's most recent round of lay offs. We discuss that and then move onto the movies. Top Gun 3, Avengers Doomsday and loads more!

CinemaCon 2026 - Episode 2

Our second of 3 CinemaCon special's turns our attention to Universal and Amazon MGM. While Universal remained focused on 2026 with their huge releases such as 'The Odyssey' and 'Disclosure Day'. Amazon went beyond 2026 to give us some reminders of what is coming from their slate, plus a tiny bit of discussion about Bond.

Undertone

Today's episode warns us of the dangers of podcasting, as we review the latest A24 horror movie, 'Undertone'. Labelled "The scariest movie you'll ever hear" and they certainly live up to that. For the retro, we thought it was only right to go to a classic A24 horror and finish our Ari Aster filmography, as we review 'Midsommar'. Keep an ear out for some freaky goings on in the 'Undertone' review by the way. 
It's a shorter episode this week, as we have separate episodes covering all of the news from CinemaCon. Back to regularly scheduled programming next week, with the review of, Lee Cronin's 'The Mummy'.

CinemaCon 2026 - Episode 1

It's the first of three special episodes covering this years CinemaCon, the convention which brings all the big studios together to showcase their upcoming slate of movies. Today we discuss day 1 and 2 of CinemaCon, which saw the showcase's of Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. The former, with big titles such as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Beyond the Spider-Verse, Resident Evil and much more. The latter, with big movies from DC studios, such as, Man of Tomorrow, Supergirl and Clayface. As well as Dune Part 3, Lord of the Rings: The hunt for Gollum and more. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

Just as Artemis II splashes back down to earth, we head for the stars as we review 'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie'. The sequel to the Super Mario Bros. Movie from 2023, which was the first Mario movie since 1993. For our retro, we take a look at both of those previous films and ask the question, "why did it take so long to get more Mario since 1993?". Plus, we look to the future, as we pitch what could be next for everyone's favourite Italian plumber in cinema.

It's time to head to outer space and save the world, as we review the new movie by Lord & Miller. They haven't made a live-action film in over a decade, but they are back with "Project Hail Mary", starring the amazing Ryan Gosling. This is the second movie to be adapted from the works of Andy Weir, so we felt it only right to retro-review, "The Martian" from Sir Ridley Scott. Plus, we take a look at some more of our favourite "grounded" Science-Fiction.

By Order Of The Bride

Make way for The Bride! Or should that be, make way for, Tommy Shelby! This week we go from re-animated corpses to immortal men as we review two movies. First up it's the return of Maggie Gyllenhaal in the directors chair, as she gives us her take on the tale of the bride of Frankenstein. Then, the Shelby era comes to an end as we review 'Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man', how does it hold up making that transition from the small screen? Plus, it's Oscars weekend, so it's time for the face off between Tom and Liam, as they go head to head in their Oscars predictions.

This week, we review the 7th movie in the scream franchise, give the innovative title of "Scream 7", as Neve Campbell's Sydney Prescott returns to the franchise.
